Nintendo DS Program
DSSingleCard.com will be hosting an official Nintendo DS program for OhayoCon this year.
The program will have several features...
* Formal Tournaments
* Take-And-Go Demos
* On-The-Spot Challenges
* Casual Vs Play (games without Single-Card Download)
* An official location for hanging out with other Nintendo DS players
For full information on what will be part of the Nintendo DS program, go to http://www.dssinglecard.com/ohayocon2008.html
The vast majority of the content uses the Single-Card Download Feature.
What does this mean?
It means that, for most of the content, YOU DON'T NEED TO OWN THE GAMES - JUST A NINTENDO DS SYSTEM!
Some games, however, WILL require you to own them.
Formal Tournaments
Games currently scheduled for tournaments (via Single-Card Download) include...
Advance Wars: Dual Strike, Diddy Kong Racing DS, Magnetica, Mario Kart DS, Meteos (all via Single-Card Download)!
There will also be a Pokemon Diamond & Pokemon Pearl tournament (but Pokemon requires you to have your own copy).
Formal Tournament times will be announced soon.

Take-And-Go Demos
Take-And-Go Demos allow you to download a game demo and walk off.
You can play when you want. You can even put your Nintendo DS into sleep mode.
As long as you don't power off your Nintendo DS, the game will stay loaded.
19 games are currently announced for Take-And-Go Demos. Check back every Monday for more possible additions.
Take-And-Go Demos will be available, for the most part, all day long (whenever a program staff member is available to beam you the demo).

On-The-Spot Challenges
On-The-Spot Challenges allow you to challenge a program staff member in a Nintendo DS game's "Vs Play" feature.
These must all be done in the room but are available whenever a program staff member is available.
Hours for On-The-Spot Challenges, like the Take-And-Go Demos, will be pretty much all day long.
20 games are currently announced for On-The-Spot Challenges. Check back every Monday for more possible additions.

Casual Vs Play (games without Single-Card Download)
Sometimes, the games you'll want to play won't be Single-Card Download compatible.
Several games - primarily Anime-themed games - will have gamer lists in the meet-up space for playing.
9 different games without Single-Card Download are set to have player lists on-site for people looking for opponents.
Each of these games will also have prescheduled meet-up times for interested players. Check back soon for these schedules.

An Official Hang-Out Location
Just wanna hang out and chat with Nintendo DS players?
Wanna bring your own games and challenge people?
Just wanna know where the other Nintendo DS players will be?
Don't want to participate in any of the formal activities?
No problem! Just come hang out!
More games will be added to the main DSSingleCard.com website every Monday.
If these games make sense for a convention environment, they'll be added to the official lists for OhayoCon 2008.
