SHIN KUROKAWA

Shin has been responsible for over 100 anime and live-action titles released in the US since the late 1980s. Wearing many hats as a producer, post-production specialist, translator, and director, he has worked on a diverse range of titles, including Macross, Oh My Goddess!, Bubblegum Crisis, Lupin III, Urusei Yatsura, Kimagure Orange Road, Vampire Princess Miyu, Otaku no Video, Lone Wolf and Cub, several Akira Kurosawa classic films, Robotech, and Modern Combat 5. His expertise in video and film has also taken him to government film archives and theaters around the world.

In addition to his work in the anime video industry, Shin is a musician who has closely collaborated with artists such as the J-Pop and Anison hitmakers, fripSide, best known for their Top 10 hit, “Only My Railgun.” Most recently, Shin co-wrote “more than you know,” a song on the “Red Liberation” EP that is part of “The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess” anime soundtrack.
