Chris has over 9 years of industry experience under belt in both the anime industry and the American webcomics scene! He’s a brand visionary, a production wizard, an ace storyteller and all sorts of other buzzphases I could make up for you guys!

Voice Actor Jamie Marchi

It’s Feature Friday, and we are ecstatic to let you know we asked voice actor and director Jamie Marchi to visit us in January, and she said yes!

Marchi voiced the titular Panty in Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt, Cana Alberona in Fairy Tail, Liz Thompson in Soul Eater, Gou Matsuoka in Free! Iwatobi Swim Club and Free! Eternal Summer, and the narrator in Hetalia: Axis Powers. Marchi also has credits in a number of other anime, including Witchblade, Baka and Test, Spice and Wolf, Sgt. Frog, Rosario + Vampire, Romeo X Juliet, and several more.

Nightlife at Ohayocon is defined by our Signature Event: Club Ohayocon — and what would a club be without some incredible DJs to make it jump? For this Feature Friday we’re excited to announce our first DJ, Marson! Marson has been DJing anime events for 4 years and his deadly combination of J-core and Future Bass are sure to get the floor moving. Plus he puts those fun little anime clips voice acting clips into his music sometimes which the person writing this press release totally loves.

We’ve got another Fan Guest of Honor announcement for you! It’s Oriana Perón: Cosplayer, Costume Designer, Drag Queen, and Wig Designer to the stars! Oriana has been cosplaying since 2006. This long journey began in 1995 when her cousin introduced her to Sailor Moon. She is an award winning Mid-Western Drag/cosplayer and now spends her days as a costume and wig designer.

It’s announcement time! We’re officially announcing Chris Patton as one of our many 2018 guests. Chris has an incredible backlog of memorable characters to his name, with over 250 titles to his name he’s not a guest to be missed! You can hear him in some of his most notable roles as Turtles in the Dragon Ball franchise, Fakir in Princess Tutu, and Greed from Full Metal Alchemist! Also to his credit are a number of video game roles, and stage productions he’s directed or performed in. Ohayocon is absolutely excited to have such an amazing talent attending our 2018 show!
