Philip Odango and David CharlesÂ
Philip Odango and David Charles are thrilled to return to Ohayocon. A cosplay couple from Louisville, Kentucky, Philip, and David, have a combined experience of over 25 years in costuming, crafting, theatre, and cosplay. Philip’s award-winning costuming work focuses primarily on design, patterning, and sewing, has designed for celebrities such as Mindy Kaling and Danny Trejo, and has been featured by Disney, Marvel, GQ, and DC. Philip also serves as a theatre producer educator. non-profit executive, author of the Cosplay Professional Development series, and collaborator with JOANN and Singer Sewing Company. David’s strengths as a crafter include prop making, 3D printing, and finishing, and has had his work featured in the show NCIS. In addition to being a psychologist and filmmaker, David is the founder and owner of BlackRainbow Records and is also a prolific music producer under the monikers The Ones Among Us and Theory of Motivation. Philip and David were featured as invited red-carpet guests to the world premiere of One Piece Film Red and travel to conventions together.
